Sometimes Life is About Feelings

Today was an interesting day. I discovered that there are a lot of services and community groups/social groups hidden in my county. If you’re like me and you’re struggling with finding your niche, you can check some community resources, where you might find what you’re looking for! When you’re on the go, take a moment to pause, and you might find what you’re looking for hidden in uncanny places like your local grocery store - check their bulletin board/corkboard for announcements/postings. It might not be obvious - check on the way out the door or by the entrance way.

Other sources of information can include your local church bulletin or library’s monthly newsletters, where you might find access to undiscovered groups and organizations.

Online resources can include social media sites such as Meetup.com, where you can connect with community groups and organizations or find sources of support that you can attend virtually.

Always keep your eyes out when you’re on the road for community events and social outings that may be posted on road corners as you’re whizzing by.

Things to keep an eye out/keep your feelers out includes upcoming websites such as Nextdoor.com (I have not explored it myself, but it comes by recommendation from a trusted resource).

And of course, check out Facebook and you can/may explore local community groups that might share events and happenings in your area!
